| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Chapter 511, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Section 511.0102 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 511.0102. INFORMATION ON LICENSED JAILER TURNOVER. On | |
| 13 | 13 | or before the fifth day of each month, each jail under the | |
| 14 | 14 | commission's jurisdiction shall submit to the commission a report | |
| 15 | 15 | containing the number of licensed jailers who left employment at | |
| 16 | 16 | the jail during the previous month. The commission shall prescribe | |
| 17 | 17 | a form for the report required by this section. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. Not later than December 1, 2011, the Commission | |
| 19 | 19 | on Jail Standards shall adopt rules to implement Section 511.0102, | |
| 20 | 20 | Government Code, as added by this Act. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
