9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 130.190, Education Code, is amended to | |
11 | 11 | read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | Sec. 130.190. NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COLLEGE DISTRICT SERVICE | |
13 | 13 | AREA. The service area of the North Central Texas College District | |
14 | 14 | includes the territory within: | |
15 | 15 | (1) Cooke and Montague counties; [and] | |
16 | 16 | (2) Denton County, except the territory within The | |
17 | 17 | Colony, the municipality of Frisco, and the Celina, Prosper, and | |
18 | 18 | Carrollton-Farmers Branch independent school districts; and | |
19 | 19 | (3) the part of the Graham Independent School District | |
20 | 20 | that is located in Young County. | |
21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
22 | 22 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
23 | 23 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
24 | 24 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
25 | 25 | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
