| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 130.191, Education Code, is amended to | |

| 11 | 11 | Sec. 130.191. LONE STAR [NORTH HARRIS MONTGOMERY COMMUNITY] | |
| 12 | 12 | COLLEGE SYSTEM DISTRICT SERVICE AREA. The service area of the Lone | |
| 13 | 13 | Star [North Harris Montgomery Community] College System District | |
| 14 | 14 | includes the territory within: | |
| 15 | 15 | (1) the Aldine, Conroe, Cypress-Fairbanks, Humble, | |
| 16 | 16 | New Caney, Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, Willis, Montgomery, | |
| 17 | 17 | Splendora, Cleveland, Tarkington, and Klein independent school | |
| 18 | 18 | districts; and | |
| 19 | 19 | (2) the Huntsville and New Waverly independent school | |
| 20 | 20 | districts in Walker County. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 22 | 22 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 23 | 23 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 24 | 24 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 25 | 25 | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
