66 AN ACT
77 relating to the de-annexation of land in Bastrop County by the
88 Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Not later than the 30th day after the effective
1111 date of this Act, the board of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer
1212 Conservation District shall declare by resolution that the
1313 territory described by Section 2 of this Act is excluded from the
1414 territory of the Barton Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation
1515 District. The board shall file a copy of the resolution in the
1616 office of the county clerk of the county in which the excluded
1717 territory is located. The county clerk shall record the resolution
1818 in the county records. On the date the resolution is recorded, the
1919 excluded territory is no longer part of that district.
2020 SECTION 2. The territory to be de-annexed by the Barton
2121 Springs-Edwards Aquifer Conservation District under this Act is the
2222 territory contained in the following area:
2323 BEGINNING AT A POINT at the intersection of Travis County, Bastrop
2424 County, and Caldwell County;
2525 THENCE, 1840 feet, more or less, N 48° E, along the Bastrop/Travis
2626 County Line to an angle point;
2727 THENCE, 9720 feet, more or less, S 47° E, passing State Highway 21 to
2828 an angle point;
2929 THENCE, 1670 feet, more or less, S 70° W, to an angle point in the
3030 Bastrop/Caldwell County Line;
3131 THENCE, 8840 feet, more or less, N 43° W, along the Bastrop/Caldwell
3232 County Line and passing State Highway 21 to the Point of Beginning.
3333 All of the area enclosed by this description is in Bastrop County
3434 and totals approximately 410 acres.

3838 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
3939 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
4040 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
4141 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
4242 Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
