| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 9501, Special District | |
| 12 | 12 | Local Laws Code, is amended by adding Section 9501.1015 to read as | |
| 13 | 13 | follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 9501.1015. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. The commission | |
| 15 | 15 | may establish, construct, and maintain recreational facilities for | |
| 16 | 16 | public use adjacent to the seawall in Matagorda County. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 18 | 18 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 19 | 19 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 20 | 20 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 21 | 21 | Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
