The bill would amend Education Code to require state agencies administering licensing examinations to make reasonable accommodations to an examinee diagnosed as having dyslexia. State agencies would be required to adopt rules establishing the eligibility criteria for applicable examinees. The bill would take effect September 1, 2011. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
