                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1018
 WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured
 events in the life of a couple; and
 WHEREAS, May 1, 2011, will be a day long remembered and
 cherished by Allison and Chris Tipton, for on that day, their son
 Cash Harlan Tipton was born; and
 WHEREAS, This beautiful baby boy was born at 11:10 p.m.; he
 weighed seven pounds 14 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long; and
 WHEREAS, Cash Harlan's name reflects a time-honored
 tradition of family names passed down through the generations;
 continuing this custom, Chris and Allison have paid tribute to
 both of their families in the naming of their son; and
 WHEREAS, Cash's safe arrival is the fulfillment of his
 parents' dearest wish; Allison and Chris, along with
 grandparents Margaret Ann Tipton, Gary and Teresa Tipton, Ken and
 Vickie Weiss, and Larry and Cheryl Audette, are filled with joy
 over the arrival of this long-awaited infant, who has already
 found a permanent place in their hearts; and
 WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate
 welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the Lone
 Star State; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
 Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Allison and Chris
 Tipton on the birth of their precious child and best wishes for
 the future to Cash Harlan Tipton; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 the family as a memento of this milestone in their lives.
