SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1059
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Dahlia Zárate-Muñiz for her achievements as an author;
and
WHEREAS, Dahlia Zárate-Muñiz is the coauthor, along with
Maria Arias-Lucio, of The Art of Decoration A Sacred Tribute to
God, a book dedicated to enlightening readers about the hope and
blessings available to them and about the impact of
beautification in both the earthly realm and the spiritual realm;
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Zárate-Muñiz is director of the
Ornamentation Department at her church, and in her book she
offers a wealth of insights into the purpose and meaning of
decoration and its communicative and spiritual value; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her life, Dahlia Zárate-Muñiz has
dedicated herself to helping others, from serving as an advocate
for the homeless, to excelling in her jobs as workforce
coordinator and adult education teacher, to writing this
inspirational book; she is truly deserving of recognition for her
many accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby congratulate Dahlia Zárate-Muñiz on her
accomplishments as an author, commend her on her commitment to
helping others seek a spiritual path, and extend to her best
wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
