SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1133 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Lydia G. Sandoval on the occasion of her 25th anniversary at Lone Star National Bank in McAllen; and WHEREAS, Lydia Sandoval began her career at Lone Star National Bank as a new accounts representative; by dint of her talent and hard work, she has risen through the ranks to become vice president and branch sales manager; and WHEREAS, She has overcome the obstacles historically faced by women and minorities in the banking and finance industries to attain her current position, and in so doing has become a role model and inspiration to all those who wish to enter these competitive fields; and WHEREAS, Appreciated and admired by colleagues and customers alike, she treats each client with respect and professionalism, providing them with expert counsel on their financial needs and offering them the guidance they require to ensure that their families' needs are met; and WHEREAS, Her wonderful loving family has played an important role in her success throughout her career, as she and her husband, Rudolfo, have lived the lessons learned from their parents and passed this valuable legacy on to their children, Rudy and Erica; Mrs. Sandoval is truly deserving of recognition for her many years of dedication, hard work, and outstanding service; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Lydia G. Sandoval on 25 years of exceptional service to Lone Star National Bank of McAllen and extend to her best wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
