                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 152
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize the Wild Hog Cook-off in Crowell and its dedicated
 sponsors and participants; and
 WHEREAS, Known as the Wild Hog Capital of the World,
 Crowell has been hosting the Wild Hog Cook-off for many years;
 this outstanding event is sponsored by the Crowell Chamber of
 Commerce and is sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbecue Society; and
 WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and
 through the years Texas barbecue cook-off chefs have provided
 superior cuisine that satisfies the most discriminating palates;
 the Wild Hog Cook-off in Crowell contributes greatly to the
 continuation of this vital Texas tradition; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
 Legislature, hereby recognize the Wild Hog Cook-off in Crowell as
 a Texas State Barbecue Championship competition and commend its
 sponsors and participants on their dedication to the art of
 barbecue; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
