SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 218
WHEREAS, December 16, 2009, will be a day long cherished
and remembered by Juan Javier Ramirez and Sejena Elvera Ramirez,
for on that day their daughter, Gianna Elvera, was born; and
WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl arrived at 7:33 a.m. and
weighed five pounds seven ounces; she was 18 inches long; and
WHEREAS, Gianna Elvera is the fulfillment of her parents'
dearest wish, and her family happily celebrated her first
birthday on December 11, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Juan Ramirez is a Pflugerville firefighter, and
Sejena Ramirez is a neonatal nurse at Dell Children's Medical
Center; the Ramirez family was delighted at the birth of little
Gianna, and their joy and love has grown ever deeper in the year
since her birth; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby honor the first birthday of Gianna Elvera and
extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
Ramirez family as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
