SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 30 In Memory of Israel Diaz Trinidad WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and commemorates the life of Israel Diaz "Lito" Trinidad, who died January 10, 2011, at the age of 72; and WHEREAS, Born June 15, 1938, Mr. Trinidad served the nation with honor in the United States Marine Corps; he later went on to serve the United States Air Force for 35 years at Kelly Air Force Base, retiring in 1991 with the title of electronic integrated systems general foreman; and WHEREAS, Mr. Trinidad was an exceptional citizen who was admired in his community for his many achievements, his perseverance, and his enthusiasm for life; and WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and he brought great joy to the lives of his friends and family members, who will long cherish the treasured memories of his life and his many accomplishments; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Israel Diaz Trinidad: his loving wife of 49 years, Ancelma H. Trinidad; his children, Mark, Joseph, and Anna Marie Bianca; his siblings, Elia, Minerva, Diana, Rodolfo, and Joe; and his grandchildren; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Israel Diaz Trinidad.
