SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 315
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
welcome representatives of Texas Health Resources as they gather
in Austin on February 22, 2011, to celebrate Texas Health
Resources Day at the State Capitol; and
WHEREAS, Texas Health Resources is a faith-based,
nonprofit health care delivery system that has served North Texas
since 1997; with 12 acute-care hospitals, one long-term care
hospital, and a partnership with six additional hospital and
surgery centers, it serves the largest number of patients in the
area; and
WHEREAS, The system has more than 18,000 employees, and
more than 3,600 physicians have staff privileges at its
hospitals; it fosters and values teamwork and diversity,
creating a positive and supportive environment for its health
care professionals, staff, and patients; and
WHEREAS, The goal of Texas Health Resources is to provide
high-quality and compassionate care to the North Texas
community, and the administration, staff, and physicians of this
outstanding organization are truly deserving of recognition for
their service; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby commend Texas Health Resources and proclaim
February 22, 2011, Texas Health Resources Day at the Capitol;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an
expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
