SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 811
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Allyson L. Sekerke on the happy occasion of her high
school graduation in June of 2011; and
WHEREAS, Allyson Sekerke has successfully completed the
requirements for her high school diploma, and she is graduating
from Mansfield Legacy High School with plans to pursue higher
education in the fall; and
WHEREAS, She is a member of the National Honor Society and
has been a member of the Texas Girls' Choir for eight years,
serving as secretary in 2011; she has traveled extensively with
the choir and has performed at venues across the United States
and abroad; and
WHEREAS, An exemplary role model, Allyson has earned
numerous awards during her school years and has received
recognition as a leader; and
WHEREAS, She has been actively involved in her community
and has volunteered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank and at the
library; and
WHEREAS, Having reached this important milestone in her
life, Allyson is now well prepared to embark on an adventure into
a world bright with promise that holds countless exciting
opportunities for her; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby congratulate Allyson L. Sekerke on her
graduation from high school and extend to her best wishes in all
her future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
this exemplary young Texan as an expression of high regard from
the Texas Senate.
