H.R. No. 227 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories of Harold Wayne Cline, Sr., of Irving, who passed away on May 16, 2011, at the age of 86; and WHEREAS, Born on March 16, 1925, in Denton County, Harold Cline was a proud veteran of World War II, having served his country aboard the U.S.S. Doyen as a member of the United States Navy; he went on to become a valued employee of the City of Irving and retired after a notable career that spanned three decades; and WHEREAS, Mr. Cline married the love of his life, Bobbie Louise Curtis, on December 28, 1946; the couple shared a rewarding relationship that was blessed with four children, Harold, Larry, Darrell, and Linda; later in life, they enjoyed doting on their 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and WHEREAS, Although Harold Cline will be deeply missed, he will always be remembered with great affection by all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Harold Wayne Cline, Sr., and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Bobbie Cline; to his sons, Larry Cline and Darrell Cline; to his daughter, Linda Hammond; to his sisters, Imogene Lucas and Sally Vestal; to his 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Harold Wayne Cline, Sr. Harper-Brown ______________________________ Speaker of the House I certify that H.R.
