H.R. No. 24
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, Roy and Eloisa Donoso of Temple
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 13, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Donoso were united in matrimony at Our
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in 1961; through the years, they
have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer
with the addition of 6 daughters, Angie, Diana, Tina, Cecilia,
Nancy, and Amy, as well as 16 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Residents of Temple for more than six decades, Mr.
Donoso is employed with Selective Plastic Signs and Mrs. Donoso is
retired from the Temple Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant
in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Roy and Eloisa Donoso
on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
