No. 241 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Multilayer Technology has received the 2011 Best of Irving Award in the Printed Circuit Board category from the United States Commerce Association; and WHEREAS, The U.S. Commerce Association Best of Local Business award program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their community and business category; these are companies that enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers and their community; and WHEREAS, Led by founder and president Viny S. Mulani, Multilayer Technology has been providing printed circuit boards for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups since 1986, in fields ranging from telecom, medical, and instrumentation to logging, pipeline and oil, automated test equipment, military defense, and aerospace; and WHEREAS, This is the third year in a row that Multilayer Technology has won the Best of Irving Award; nationwide, less than one percent of the 2011 award recipients qualified as three-time winners, signifying the remarkable honor of the company's most recent accolade; and WHEREAS, Those associated with Multilayer Technology can indeed take pride in the record of achievement they have forged and in the contribution their work has made to strengthening the reputation of their community for business excellence; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby recognize Multilayer Technology for winning its third consecutive Best of Irving Award in the Printed Circuit Board category from the United States Commerce Association and extend to its staff and management sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Multilayer Technology as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
