R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Technical Resources of Dallas is
celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2011; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception in the mid-1990s, Pinnacle
Technical Resources has grown 100 times its original size into an
award-winning, $200 million staffing, payroll, and vendor
management provider that serves Fortune 500 clients across a broad
range of industries; Pinnacle has created more than 7,000 jobs in
the state of Texas over the years, and today employs more than 3,500
people in over 400 locations across the nation and in several
foreign countries; and
WHEREAS, The company has become the largest Texas
historically underutilized business in the staffing industry, as
well as the largest diversity-owned IT staffing company in the
nation, and its other accomplishments include recognition by
Staffing Industry Reports as being among the top 20 IT staffing
firms; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Pinnacle's CEO, Nina Vaca-Humrichouse,
received the prestigious 2005 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the
Year Award for Technology and Communications, and the company was
recognized with a 2009 CIO 100 Award for its proprietary technology
platform; Ms. Vaca-Humrichouse serves on the board of Comerica Bank
and the Kohl's Corporation, and she was recently elected as chair of
the board of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, For a decade and a half, Pinnacle Technical
Resources has contributed to the economic strength and diversity of
Texas, and its ongoing success is truly deserving of recognition
during this milestone year; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commemorate the 15th
anniversary of the founding of Pinnacle Technical Resources and
extend to Nina Vaca-Humrichouse and her staff sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Pinnacle Technical Resources as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
