H.R. No. 50
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, Clarence and Ann Crow of Georgetown
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Crow were united in matrimony in
Wichita Falls on that special day in 1951; through the years, they
have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer
with the addition of a daughter and two sons, as well as five
grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and
Mrs. Crow are former residents of Dallas and settled in Georgetown
in 1993 after retiring; they reside in a house on the 11th fairway
of the golf course at Berry Creek Country Club and are members of
First Baptist Church of Georgetown; they plan to commemorate this
milestone year in their marriage with a trip to Bend, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six
decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace
and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Clarence and
Ann Crow on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Crow as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
