H.R. No. 60
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center, an assisted living
facility in McAllen, was recently honored with the Public
Information and Education Award; and
WHEREAS, Recognizing accomplishments in media relations and
community education, the tribute was presented by the Texas Health
Care Association, a professional advocacy group for members of the
long-term health care industry; and
WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center has demonstrated a
commitment to improving the quality of life for senior citizens,
and its dedication to this vital and ever-growing portion of the
population is making an immeasurable difference in the community it
serves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Las Palmas
Healthcare Center on earning the Public Information and Education
Award from the Texas Health Care Association and extend to all those
associated with the facility sincere best wishes for continued
success with their important efforts; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
