                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 67
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Operational Technologies Corporation on the grand
 occasion of the corporation's 25th anniversary; and
 WHEREAS, Operational Technologies Corporation was founded
 Dr. Lynda de la ViƱa; the first Hispanic-based scientific
 research firm in San Antonio, Operational Technologies
 Corporation has been recognized nationally as one of the
 fastest-growing minority companies in America; and
 WHEREAS, The corporation was founded to help meet the need
 for multidisciplinary technical services by San Antonio's
 scientific military community; Operational Technologies is a
 diversified corporation with business divisions in supply chain
 management, government contracting and personnel research,
 biotechnology, and the automotive industry; and
 WHEREAS, The corporation is well known for its commitment
 to excellence as a provider of scientific and technical solutions
 for its clients in the United States and Mexico; it has supported
 the training needs of the United States Air Force for over 20
 years and is a leading innovator in the biotechnology arena in
 the field of food safety; and
 WHEREAS, The goal of Operational Technologies Corporation
 is to continue to provide superior services and products while
 providing an exceptional working environment for its corporate
 team; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Operational
 Technologies Corporation on its excellent service as a vibrant
 member of the global business community and extend
 congratulations to the corporation on the occasion of its 25th
 anniversary; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 the corporation as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
