1010 AN ACT
1111 relating to municipal consent provisions applicable to the
1212 Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 126.
1313 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1414 SECTION 1. Subtitle F, Title 6, Special District Local Laws
1515 Code, is amended by adding Chapter 8454 to read as follows:
1616 CHAPTER 8454. MONTGOMERY COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 126
1717 SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1818 Sec. 8454.001. DEFINITION. In this chapter, "district"
1919 means the Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 126.
2020 SUBCHAPTER B. POWERS AND DUTIES
2121 Sec. 8454.101. NO ALLOCATION AGREEMENT. Section 54.016(f),
2222 Water Code, does not apply to the district.
2323 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
2424 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
2525 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
2626 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
2727 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
2828 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
2929 Government Code.
3030 (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has
3131 submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on
3232 Environmental Quality.
3333 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
3434 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor, the
3535 lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of
3636 representatives within the required time.
3737 (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
3838 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
3939 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled
4040 and accomplished.
4141 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
