11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 102.32, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is | |
13 | 13 | amended by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: | |
14 | 14 | (b-1) A wholesale dealer who accepts a check or draft as | |
15 | 15 | payment from a retailer for the purchase of liquor must deposit the | |
16 | 16 | check or draft in the bank for payment or present the check or draft | |
17 | 17 | for payment within five business days after it is received. | |
18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
