| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 10.011, Water Code, is amended to read as | |

| 12 | 12 | Sec. 10.011. REPORT. Not later than December 1 of each | |
| 13 | 13 | even-numbered year, the council shall submit to the governor, | |
| 14 | 14 | lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of representatives a | |
| 15 | 15 | report on progress made in water conservation in this state. The | |
| 16 | 16 | report must include specific statutory, budgetary, and policy | |
| 17 | 17 | recommendations to improve water conservation and management. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
