A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the issuance of U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge
specialty license plates.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code,
is amended by adding Section 504.319 to read as follows:
Sec. 504.319. COMBAT INFANTRYMAN BADGE RECIPIENTS. The
department shall issue specialty license plates for persons who
have received the U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge. The license
plates must include:
(1) the likeness of a Combat Infantryman Badge
authorized by the Department of the Army; and
(2) the words "Combat Infantryman Badge."
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
