The bill would amend the Election Code to require an Internet website maintained by the Secretary of State, in which a person can determine his or her voter registration status, to indicate whether or not a person is or may be on the suspense list. The Secretary of State indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
