1010 relating to the secretary of state providing information to voters
1111 regarding their voting status through an Internet website.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 15, Election Code, is
1414 amended by adding Section 15.086 to read as follows:
1515 Sec. 15.086. INTERNET ACCESS TO SUSPENSE INFORMATION. Any
1616 Internet website maintained by the secretary of state that permits
1717 a person to determine the person's voter registration status shall,
1818 to the extent practicable, indicate if the person is or may be on
1919 the suspense list.
2020 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
