A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to electronic payment of premiums to the Texas Health
Insurance Pool.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 1506, Insurance Code, is
amended by adding Section 1506.011 to read as follows:
Sec. 1506.011. ELECTRONIC PAYMENT OF PREMIUMS. The pool
shall establish a process for the electronic payment of premiums
for health benefit coverage provided by the pool.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
