1010 relating to lobbying expenditures that are made jointly.
1111 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1212 SECTION 1. Section 305.0021(b), Government Code, is amended
1313 to read as follows:
1414 (b) For purposes of Section 36.02 or 36.10, Penal Code, a
1515 person described by Subsection (a)(2)(A) is not considered to have
1616 made an expenditure [the amount of a joint expenditure that is
1717 attributed to a person who is not a registrant is not an expenditure
1818 made and reported] in accordance with this chapter.
1919 SECTION 2. The amendment made by this Act to Section
2020 305.0021(b), Government Code, is intended to clarify rather than
2121 change existing law.
2222 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
