The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require bicycle operators to have a lamp that emits a white light in the front of the bicycle and a lamp that emits a red light at the rear of the bicycle while operating the bicycle at nighttime; and would create an offense for a violation. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
