The bill would add Chapter 252 to the Utilities Code to establish requirements for cable operators' attachments on distribution poles owned or controlled by electric cooperatives, including procedures for construction; pole attachment contracts; transfer and removal of attachments; and easements. The Public Utility Commission indicated no significant fiscal impact is anticipated and any work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
