The bill would add Chapter 252 to the Utilities Code to establish requirements for cable operators' attachments on distribution poles owned or controlled by electric cooperatives, including procedures for construction; pole attachment contracts; transfer and removal of attachments; and easements. The Public Utility Commission indicated no significant fiscal impact is anticipated and any work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
