A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to examining records of municipal management districts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 375.0961 is added to the Local
Government Code as follows:
Sec. 375.0961. EXAMINATION OF RECORDS. Within 14 days of a
written request, the district shall make available for
investigation, during business hours, the district's relevant
books, records of account, and minutes.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
