1010 AN ACT
1111 relating to the territory of the East Aldine Management District.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. The following territory is added to the
1414 territory of the East Aldine Management District:
1515 Four tracts totaling approximately 790 acres, situated in
1616 Harris County, described as follows:
1717 Tract 1 - beginning at northeast corner of East Aldine
1818 Management District boundary at the north right-of-way (ROW) of
1919 Aldine Bender Road and east ROW of Lee Road, and coincident City of
2020 Houston full-purpose boundary line;
2121 Then east along north ROW of Aldine Bender Road to west ROW of
2222 Old Humble Road and coincident City of Houston full-purpose
2323 boundary line;
2424 Then northeast along west ROW of Old Humble Road and City of
2525 Houston full-purpose boundary line to west ROW of Southern Pacific
2626 Railway;
2727 Then south southwest along west ROW of Southern Pacific
2828 Railway to north boundary of East Aldine Management District
2929 boundary;
3030 Then west along north boundary of East Aldine Management

116116 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
117117 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
118118 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
119119 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
120120 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
121121 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
122122 Government Code.
123123 (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has
124124 submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on
125125 Environmental Quality.
126126 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
127127 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor,
128128 lieutenant governor, and speaker of the house of representatives
129129 within the required time.
130130 (d) The general law relating to consent by political
131131 subdivisions to the creation of districts with conservation,
132132 reclamation, and road powers and the inclusion of land in those
133133 districts has been complied with.
134134 (e) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
135135 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
136136 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act have been
137137 fulfilled and accomplished.
138138 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
139139 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
140140 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
141141 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
142142 Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
