12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Section 33.204(f), Natural Resources Code, is |
---|
14 | 14 | | amended to read as follows: |
---|
15 | 15 | | (f) The land office, in coordination with other agencies and |
---|
16 | 16 | | subdivisions, shall prepare a biennial [an annual] report on the |
---|
17 | 17 | | effectiveness of the coastal management program. On or before |
---|
18 | 18 | | January 15 of each odd-numbered year, the land office shall send the |
---|
19 | 19 | | report to the legislature [each of the previous two annual |
---|
20 | 20 | | reports]. |
---|
21 | 21 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
---|
22 | 22 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
---|
23 | 23 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
---|
24 | 24 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
---|
25 | 25 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
