1010 relating to the report by the General Land Office to the legislature
1111 on the effectiveness of the coastal management program.
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1313 SECTION 1. Section 33.204(f), Natural Resources Code, is
1414 amended to read as follows:
1515 (f) The land office, in coordination with other agencies and
1616 subdivisions, shall prepare a biennial [an annual] report on the
1717 effectiveness of the coastal management program. On or before
1818 January 15 of each odd-numbered year, the land office shall send the
1919 report to the legislature [each of the previous two annual
2020 reports].
2121 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2222 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2323 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2424 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2525 Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
