A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to consideration of certain appropriations in determining
the constitutional biennial appropriations limit.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 316.002, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
(f) Appropriations of state tax revenues from the economic
stabilization fund are appropriations of state tax revenues
dedicated by the constitution for the purposes of:
(1) Subsections (a)(2) and (3); and
(2) Subsection (e).
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
