                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 14, 2013      TO: Honorable Jane Nelson, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB932 by Turner, Sylvester (Relating to the notification of certain legislators of the death of a child in foster care.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Family Code as it relates to the notification of certain legislators of the death of a child in foster care.   The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2013.   The Department of Family and Protective Services does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact as a result of complying with the provisions of the bill. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
