88 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
99 AN ACT
1010 relating to the transfer of certain amounts from the employment and
1111 training investment holding fund and the training stabilization
1212 fund.
1313 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1414 SECTION 1. TRANSFER. On the effective date of this Act:
1515 (1) 15 percent of the amount in the employment and
1616 training investment holding fund under Section 204.122, Labor Code,
1717 and 15 percent of the amount in the training stabilization fund
1818 under Section 302.101, Labor Code, shall be transferred to the
1919 Texas Workforce Commission to be used for one-time expenses related
2020 to workforce development or the administration of Subtitle A, Title
2121 4, Labor Code; and
2222 (2) the Texas Workforce Commission shall transfer 15
2323 percent of the total amount received by the commission under
2424 Subdivision (1) of this section to the Texas Veterans Commission to
2525 be used to fund employment programs for veterans.
2626 SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect September
2727 1, 2013.
