The bill would amend Chapter 437 of the Health and Safety Code and Chapters 211 and 231 of the Local Government Code, related to regulation of cottage food products and cottage food production operations. The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) indicates that any costs associated with implementing the bill can be absorbed within current operations.
