| 12 | 12 | Sec. 3-c. The legislature may enact a general, local, or | |
| 13 | 13 | special law authorizing the removal from office of a member of the | |
| 14 | 14 | board of trustees of an independent school district by a majority | |
| 15 | 15 | vote of the qualified voters of the school district voting at an | |
| 16 | 16 | election held to recall the school district trustee. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be | |
| 18 | 18 | submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 5, 2013. | |
| 19 | 19 | The ballot shall be printed to provide for voting for or against the | |
| 20 | 20 | proposition: "The constitutional amendment authorizing elections | |
| 21 | 21 | for the recall of independent school district trustees." |
