H.R. No. 1250
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mary and Fred Satterwhite celebrated their 55th
wedding anniversary on March 1, 2013, and they may indeed reflect
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and
WHEREAS, Fred Satterwhite and the former Mary Guillet
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Andrews in 1958, and over the
course of their marriage, they have found in each other
a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Satterwhite count among their
blessings a fine family that includes their children, Kim
Williamson and her husband, Kim, Scott Satterwhite and his wife,
Ami, Mitchell Satterwhite and his wife, Mary, and Robin Satterwhite
and his wife, Lori, as well as their 13 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren, with whom they share the many special
occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, For five and a half decades, Fred and Mary
Satterwhite have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and
devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mary and Fred Satterwhite on their
55th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Satterwhite as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
