H.R. No. 1314
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, In recognition of his exemplary service, Pilot Point
firefighter Keith Nierste has received a 2013 Hometown Hero Award
from the Lake Ray Roberts Rotary Club; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Nierste first joined the Pilot Point Fire
Department in 2005 as a volunteer member; today, he serves with
distinction as a part-time engineer and emergency medical
technician; and
WHEREAS, In addition to his work in Pilot Point, Mr. Nierste
is employed full-time as an EMT with Cooke County Emergency Medical
Services, and he is planning to study to become a certified
paramedic; and
WHEREAS, Keith Nierste has earned the respect and admiration
of his peers for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to
public safety, and he may indeed take pride in his contributions to
his community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Keith Nierste on his receipt of a
Hometown Hero Award from the Lake Ray Roberts Rotary Club and extend
to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Nierste as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
