R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Terri Schmidt was honored with the President's Club
Bronze Award from Jazzercise in 2013 for being one of the top
earners in the fitness franchise business over the past year; and
WHEREAS, Jazzercise is a workout program created in 1969 that
combines jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and
kickboxing; the international Jazzercise business includes about
7,800 instructors who teach more than 32,000 classes weekly; and
WHEREAS, An instructor in the Waco and Woodway area for the
past eight years, Ms. Schmidt leads classes at the Jazzercise Waco
Fitness Center, and her energy and enthusiasm draw large numbers of
participants to her sessions; and
WHEREAS, With her dedicated approach to physical fitness and
well-being, Terri Schmidt is making a positive difference in many
lives, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Terri Schmidt on her receipt of the
President's Club Bronze Award from Jazzercise and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Schmidt as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
