H.R. No. 174
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tom and Ann DeLoach of Lubbock celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on November 24, 2012, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Tom DeLoach and the former Ann Kendrick exchanged
the vows of matrimony in Groom in 1962, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. DeLoach count among their blessings a
fine family that includes three children, Debra Hise and her
husband, Vernon, Kyle DeLoach, and Dondra Driskill and her husband,
Dustin, as well as five grandchildren, with whom they treasure
sharing many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Tom and Ann DeLoach have brought
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Tom and Ann DeLoach on their golden
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. DeLoach as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
