H.R. No. 1760 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, John and Pat Camp of Lubbock reached a meaningful milestone in their marriage with the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary on April 13, 2013, and they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and WHEREAS, John Camp and the former Pat Carter exchanged the vows of matrimony at the Waukomis Christian Church in Oklahoma in 1963, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; and WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Camp count among their blessings a fine family that includes three children, Greg Camp and his wife, Lee, Darrin Camp and his wife, Julia, and Matt Camp and his wife, Krissy, as well as seven grandchildren; and WHEREAS, For half a century, John and Pat Camp have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature hereby congratulate John and Pat Camp on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Camp as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
