H.R. No. 1762
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, James and Omalee Pritchard of Lubbock celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary on March 30, 2013, and they may
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
shared; and
WHEREAS, James Pritchard and the former Omalee Anderson
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Lubbock in 1963, and over the
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard count among their blessings
a fine family that includes their children, Cherise Felty, Melanie
Waugaman, Jamie Rogers, and James Pritchard, with whom they
treasure sharing many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, James and Omalee Pritchard have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate James and Omalee Pritchard on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
