H.R. No. 1765
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dr. Edward Anderson and Sharon Anderson of Lubbock
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 13, 2013, and
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they
have shared; and
WHEREAS, Edward Anderson and the former Sharon Sanders
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1963,
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other
a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Anderson count among their blessings a
fine family that includes three children and their spouses, David
and Barbara Anderson, Julie and Brad Brinzo, and Jill and Richard
Compton, as well as six grandchildren, with whom they treasure
sharing many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Edward and Sharon Anderson have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Edward and Sharon Anderson on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Anderson as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
