H.R. No. 1767
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Wyley and Mildred Mauldin of Lubbock celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2013, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Wyley Mauldin and the former Mildred Beall exchanged
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held at Central United Methodist
Church in Dalhart in 1953, and over the course of their marriage,
they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Mauldin count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children and their spouses, Larry,
Mike and his wife, Beverly, Paul and his wife, Shannon, Julie and
her husband, Kirk, and Janet and her husband, James, as well as 13
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Wyley and Mildred Mauldin have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Wyley and Mildred Mauldin on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Mauldin as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
