R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Every child needs a strong start in life, and Chosen
Child Adoption Services of Allen is helping to ensure that many
young Texans find the loving home and family they deserve; and
WHEREAS, A faith-based comprehensive adoption agency, Chosen
Child Adoption Services has been serving Texas families since 2008;
licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services,
the nonprofit agency ministers to birth parents, adoptive parents,
and children; and
WHEREAS, Chosen Child A
doption Services works to keep
adoption an affordable option for as many prospective parents as
possible; it is supported by dedicated volunteers and donations,
and in 2013, the agency moved into a new, larger facility in Allen;
and
WHEREAS, Adoption touches lives in the profoundest of ways,
and our communities are greatly strengthened by those men and women
who generously open their hearts and homes to children in need; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby honor Chosen Child Adoption Services of Allen
and extend to the agency's directors, staff, and clients sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the agency as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
