H.R. No. 181
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bob and Betty Wideman of Lubbock
celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on November 7, 2012, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Bob Wideman and the former Betty Switzer exchanged
the vows of matrimony in Cone in 1952, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wideman count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their 3 children, Kenny, Ray Don, and
Belva, as well as 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, with
whom they treasure sharing many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Bob and Betty Wideman have brought
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Betty Wideman on their 60th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wideman as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
