H.R. No. 185
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jean and Joel Low of Lubbock celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on December 15, 2012, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Joel Low and the former Jean Stephens exchanged the
vows of matrimony in Clovis, New Mexico, in 1962, and over the
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Low count among their blessings a fine
family that includes their daughter, Angie Molina, their
son-in-law, Michael, and their grandchildren, Ralph Molina and
Rebecca Molina, with whom they treasure sharing many special
occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Low have brought to
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jean and Joel Low on their golden
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Low as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
